How to Play Valorant on Windows 11 – Step by Step Tutorial

  1. Hold Windows + S to open Windows Search.
  2. Type Services.
  3. From the right pane, select Open to launch Services window.
  4. Double-click on the vgc service in the Services window to open the Properties window.
  5. Change the Startup type to Automatic.
  6. Hit the Start button.
  7. Hit OK.

Update Operating System

  2. Select Settings.
  3. From the left pane, select the Windows Update button.

Secure Boot is one of the features of Windows 11 that protects your device from malware and other threats. Valorant uses TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot because of Vanguard anti-cheat system. Keep in mind that the game will not run if the Secure Boot is turned off, which means that without having TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, you cannot play Valorant on Windows 11, so the best way is to revert to Windows 10 and run the game. Windows 10 does not need Secure Boot or TPM 2.0 for Valorant. To turn on the Secure Boot, follow the steps below:

  1. Press the Shift Key.
  2. Hit the Restart button to enter Windows Recovery Environment.
  3. Choose Troubleshoot when the system asked you to do so.
  4. Move to the Advanced Options.
  5. Select UEFI Settings.
  6. Wait until your device restarts and goes to the boot menu.
  7. Use the arrow keys to go to the Security tab.
  8. Find Secure Boot Status to know whether it is enabled or disabled.
  9. If it is disabled, enter Secure Boot.
  10. Change the value to Enable.
  11. Enter the Exit tab.
  12. Click on Exit and Save Changes to restart your PC.
  13. Run the game to check the problem.

Note: Remember that if you cannot to interact with any options in the Security tab, you should check the Administrator Password first. Supervisor Password is Administrator Password in the same boot menu.

Repair Game Files

To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Riot Client.
  2. Select Profile on the top right side.
  3. Click on Settings.
  4. Select Valorant.
  5. Hit the Repair button to initiate repair.
  6. Restart the game after finishing the process.
