When you transfer these types to your system, you can change to the suitable formats, or you can make sure that your iPhone changes these before any transition.

Scroll down to ‘Photos’ in the Settings app on your iPhone. Scroll down in the Photos settings. Click Automatic under Transfer to PC.

Note: that you must turn off iCloud Photo on your iPhone before doing the steps

1.Sync Photos from an iPhone to your Windows 11 PC via iTunes

As long as you have backed up your photos and videos on your iPad and iPhone in iCloud here, Windows 11 can use your iCloud to sync them wirelessly.

Below are the steps:

1.Connect your iPhone 11 to the computer via a USB cable.

2. Click the Run iTunes.

3. Select the Device button.

4. Click Photos.

5. Check Sync Photos.

6. Click on the photos and videos you want to transfer from the option Copy photos from.

7. Select Apply to start syncing photos to the iPhone.

2. Transfer iPhone or iPad Photos to a Windows 11 Computer

When you have backed up your photos and videos on your iPhone and iPad in iCloud here, Windows 11 can use the iCloud program to sync them wirelessly.

Below are the steps to do it:

1. Click the Microsoft Store.

2. Search for iCloud on the Microsoft Store.

3. Select Get, and iCloud will now be downloaded on your PC. After it’s downloaded, open the application.

4. Sign in to your Apple account by typing your Apple ID and its Password.

5. Select the box next to iCloud Photos so that a checkmark appears.

6. Now, wipe on the box next to Upload new photos from my PC so that the checkmark disappears. You can set these options how you’d like, but this ensures you’re just getting the pictures off your iPhone or iPad onto your PC.

7. Select Done.

8. Click on the Apply button then any photos in your iCloud will now be downloaded on your Windows 11 PC as well.

3. Transfer Photos and Videos from an iPhone to Windows 11 PC Using File Explorer

Another way to move your photos and videos from your iPhone and iPad to your Windows 11 computer is to use File Explorer.

Note: To do this method, you need to connect your iPhone to your PC via a USB cable, and to use File Explorer, iTunes must already be installed on your system.

1. Connect your iPhone to a PC or laptop by using a USB cable.

2. Go to Windows 11’s File Explorer.

3. Select This PC from the left navigation pane.

4. Open your iPhone by selecting on it under the Devices and Drives.

Note: The name of your iPhone can be written either as an Apple iPhone or with the name of your device.

5. Open your iPhone drive, select Internal Storage to open it.

6. Internal Storage opens, find and open a folder by the name of DCIM

7. In the DCIM folder, it is possible to see additional folders for videos and photos.

And now, to transfer videos and photos from iPhone to a personal computer with Windows 11, you can share photos and videos under the folders or the entire DCIM folder.
